While we enjoy meeting and working with our clients in-person, we have found greater success utilizing online platforms like Zoom to connect quickly with clients near and far. Yes. Over the last few years more Universities and Colleges have adopted holistic admissions review processes. This means that they review additional information included with your student’s application that would allow them to better gauge who your student is. Most Admissions Counselors do not have the opportunity to meet students in person, so this allows them to get a better sense of who they are. Of course, they review academic performance (GPA’s, Test Scores, Course selection, etc), community and high school engagement (extracurricular activities), and your family background, but they have begun deeply reviewing essays to better gauge student backgrounds, passion(s), and motivation(s).

We are here to ensure that our clients craft well-written, inspiring, and distinctive essays that invite admissions counselors to get to know who you are aside from your academic merit. Our essay coaching gives clients a competitive edge because **we encourage authenticity that permeates throughout essays and intentionality in word choice that highlights who you are**.

**This depends on the student's needs** and progress as they select the institutions they are applying to. While it is not something that we can predict we have noticed that most of our clients work with us for 2-3 months to create well-written, polished and refined essays, which usually take anywhere from 3-5 drafts to reach point of submission. Our packages are customized to assist clients with their specific needs: Essay development (from scratch) or Essay Revision.

**No, absolutely not.** We uphold all of our clients and students to the highest of ethical academic standards. Students are responsible for researching, fact-checking, and writing all of their own work. We hold both students and parents responsible for submitting accurate information in essays. We will support the student by ensuring the information they are sharing and submitting is accurate, but you are ultimately responsible for writing your essay(s).

Most students begin working on their essays the summer after their Junior year. This gives them a chance to reflect on the last three years of high school and how they will include this information in their essays and applications. Sign-up is available year-round, but we would encourage you to begin working with us no later than September to meet Early Action, Early Decision, and Regular Decision deadlines.

We specialize in Personal Statements, Program Choice/Major Essays, Supplemental Essays, and Scholarship Essays. We also work with students who are Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior level that are applying into Early Outreach and summer programs.

Yes! While we work with our clients who are pursuing undergraduate, graduate, and professional admission. We also offer services in Grant Writing (Request for Proposal), Resume and CV's, Cover Letters, Newsletters, Press Releases, and more! We have developed a unique process that invites both parents and students to collectively partake in the students essay process. This process may be new for both you and your student, so we are here to give you the utmost support and security. We consider parents as the direct clients, so we provide honest and transparent feedback on student progress and performance coupled with *optional* bi-weekly check-ins and sending after session emails.
